March Playbill: RENEW & FUTURE-PROOF

Hello Friend,

Spring is a season of renewal—a time when nature wakes up, stretching its limbs after a long winter’s rest. But as the world comes alive, so do the pests, the hidden wear-and-tear in our homes, and the small, overlooked details that can become big problems later.

This March, I’m inviting you to step onto the stage with me as we play out the acts of renewing and future-proofing—for our homes, our health, and our peace of mind.

Because the best way to protect the future? Care for the present.

ACT 1: Foundation First

Small fixes today prevent big problems tomorrow. Before the blooms fully arrive, I’m making sure my own foundation—literally and figuratively—is solid.

– Sealing up crawl spaces before mice and spiders get too comfortable.
– Checking for gaps, cracks, and weaknesses—because nature is persistent, but so am I.
– Starting where problems start—instead of reacting later.

The truth is, the best future-proofing is invisible—you don’t notice what’s working when it’s done right.

ACT 2: Refresh & Reinforce

Spring cleaning isn’t just about dusting shelves—it’s about resetting your space to work for you.

– I’m refinishing floors sustainably, working with local farmers turned home-improvement experts to bring new life to old wood.
– Rearranging and decluttering to create harmony. A home that breathes well functions well.
– Reinforcing what matters—from the bones of my house to the boundaries I set in my daily life.

A house, like a life, is only as strong as what holds it together.

ACT 3: Nature-Proofing

Pests wake up before you do—and they’re already making moves.

– Did you know North Carolina has more spider species than any other state? They’re always around, and ready to creep onto your patios, overhangs, and docs if there’s prey to build webs for.
– Mice, ants, and other critters take advantage of small openings—and what they find in your home can turn into an invitation.
– I’m testing new poison-free outdoor pest protection formulas to get ahead of the problem before it starts.

Nature-proofing isn’t about fighting nature—it’s about working with it.
